I see there was a post asking about a Bender figure a year ago, but I thought I would ask again…

Does anyone know of a 28mm Bender out there (any of the toys appropriate?) or a 'Not Bender'?

Thanks!

You might check Black Cat Bases, they have some odd robots.

I searched…I failed.

The only miniature I found was one sold during a convention only.

Rat Trap has a couple of robots that I think could be cutup to make a Bender

I always wanted a robot for a friend.

I'm still looking.

That picture is my "not-bender".

I got him at Origins a couple of years ago at the Armorcast booth, might be worth asking them…

DGUSA did a 'Tie-bot' and the master might be with Black Cat Bases…OR I've not sent it to them yet, (I STILL have a box of masters/brasses and UNRELEASED greens to send their way for molding and casting!!!!)

I THINK I've still got some of the ORIGINAL castings in a box of UNSOLD stuff from the 2004/05 ORIGINS conventions, but would have to check. My 'tie-bot' isn't as sleek/as the OTHER 'not-bender' that I believe was done by Brad Shier of Frozen Planet Studios….that was sold to a 'private collector'

Like I said, I'll have to see if any 'Tie-bots' are left, but the epoxy 'green' I did was pretty well trashed in molding and I'd have to re-work it before trying again….

Here is the one I have seen on Shape Ways.

shapeways.com/model/104885

However at 6 cm it will be too large. I bet you could email the shop owner and have it scaled down. That is the beauty of the 3-D printing of Shape Ways.
