Blue Moon sells a boxed set of "Named Gangsters" (BMM401)who seem to be totally unnamed…

Does Blue Moon have a clue as to who those miniatures are named after? And if they do, where could one find out who the "Named Gangster" miniatures represent?

The Gangsters they are named after? :-)
Maybe they cant name em right now because they are in litigation right now to use there names. Once that is resolved the names will be released to protect the innocent. :-)

Funny I was looking at that box today in my LGS, I couldn't figure out who they were but I guess I could work it out if I had a PC with internet connection with me.

Somehow I doubt that one cannot use the names of former convicted, sentenced, executed, or died by various means gangsters <grin>…

Otherwise, what would the "wax museums" or hometown cottage industries do?

I'll go with the best guesses above… I doubt many using the figures will raise a fuss if I get one wrong…

And the Capone guess was spot on… after painting, detailing and shading, a very small sculptured scar did appear on the miniature.. really…
