For those of you who have not read my blog recently I am currently painting 28mm Viking and Saxons figures for a campaign mainly using the 'Age of Blood: 2nd Edition Rules.' While I have some figures painted and more on the way I decided it was time to make some terrain for the campaign. To that end I scratch built an A-frame thatched roof house to use in the campaign. On my blog I put up a few pictures as well as a simple tutorial so you can make your own.

Thanks for looking guys, and I was pleasantly suprised by the scouring pad look myself.

You know, I've looked at scouring pads and wondered if they would work, and dismissed the idea – sticking to tried and trusted fur on my models. These are great, you've proved that so many house hold items can be adapted. I think I will give this idea a try now. Nice one.
