Hello, I was wondering if anyone could contact Monolith Designs at (01964) 535210 anyone that is in the UK, and this is a local call, etc. I apparently dont have that on my phone plan, and dont really want to add the plan for one call, thought I would ask here. I ordered 40 gorilla riders from Jim Bowen, and I want to make sure my order is ok, going to Tom Young Round Rock, Texas paid already $280. USD I seem to can not get in any contact with Monolith designs or Jim Bowen for the past 4 weeks. I was wondering if anyone would call and ask or see if everything is ok
I know my order was back ordered, but a email would be great
etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and again, I know this is a strange request, however, I hope someone could understand my stress. I would gladly help anyone out if I could. Thanks, Tom Young And again, I paid via paypal, $280 USD for 40 – 40mm Gorilla cavalry, (no horses)no generals, just normal troops I paid on June 7th. Normally I have no problems talking to Jim via email. Maybe he is at a few conventions, or something, and hopefully is ok. |

Good luck with that. You may get some responses, but they will always be some sort of hokie-ness to them. At least it was that way for me
And it still took over 4 months to get an incomplete order from them, I finally gave up trying to get the rest of the order.

It's been a while since I ordered any 40mm figures (over 6 months) but I have never had any issues with payment or the figures being delivered. Tony dampfpanzerwagon.blogspot.com |

Same here, until now, but maybe they are on vacation, I know Jim comes to the US sometimes, and I also know Steve comes here too, so maybe they are away. Also, I heard Monolith was having a new website designed, maybe they are just getting ready for that..not sure. I just want my damn dirty apes
haha. tom |

Thanks! I really appreciate that. I guess that means, that they are out of town, which would explain things. Hopefully. |

I decided to get international calling ability on my phone, so I called and left some messages. Funny, I was looking for a email to Jim Bowen or at least another one, and Jim Bowen told me, he has nothing to do with Monolith in the past 18 monthes
. Then who is the Jim I have been emailing and ordering stuff from in the past 18 monthes, at SMssrd@aol.com, the person always signs Regards Jim. The paypal request for the most part are paid to JimDisturbia@aol.com So Im a bit confused..maybe there is a Jim working at Monolith Design
.He never said he was Jim Bowen
I just assumed he was
. So when I got a email from Jim Bowen this morning saying he has not worked for Graven Images in 18 monthes
you can imagine my alarm and confusion
. Very strange indeed. I left 3 messages
hopefully they will take care of it. Im not bad mouthing Monolith or Graven Images, I like their products
and have always expected delays anything overseas..just used to it..its the lack of communication that bothers me. wow

Tony, Maybe you have an idea? Is there another Jim at Monolith Designs, and why would Steve be signing his Name Jim
.and the person that emailed me was jimgbowen@hotmail.com which is the same Jim here
jimbowenminiatures.com He said he used to scuplt for Graven Images
.. Anyways
Im still keeping my order, and keeping my fingers crossed
. I hope there are two Jims. one time about in 2009, I got a email from Jim saying he was comng to the US, and wanted to know if I wanted a order. Would it be a possible auto signature on the email
.why would Steve be posing as Jim
.. my head is spinning
.but my orders were always filled
just this time no communication
.maybe hes in the US or something. |

Turns out I have not been talking to Jim all these years, but maybe a email signature of "jim" from Steve
.the real Jim Bowen I found and met today via email
he is helping me out. Very nice and helpful. jimbowenminiatures.com So, hopefully I can get this solved now. Anyway hopefully "Steve" will contact me later. tom |

I rang this morning and spoke to a lady who told me that the man who ran Monolith was taking the kids to school and could I call back later, I did this and left a message and now await a reply! I will keep you posted. |

Well at least you got an actual person, that is hopeful. Jim Bowen said he was going to call him too, probably something to do with the caster or something
. This is an adventure
