Isn't this the accepted way of constructing ANY Dn (n >= 1)? Just make a prism with n faces, and make it conical at each end. Then roll the prism. Apparantly they're called 'rolling logs' by serious dice afficionados. link |

And
once again my knowledge of arcane facets of the world is expanded. I had no idea these existed. It's interesting, but seems way to cumbersome if I need to roll four or more dice. Also, rolling logs? LoL |

I have one of those dice but I never knew it was called a rolling log. It was my gran's and the first die I ever had. I'd never seen another one until now. Thanks for that link, Phil. |
