Isn't this the accepted way of constructing ANY Dn (n >= 1)?

Just make a prism with n faces, and make it conical at each end. Then roll the prism.

Apparantly they're called 'rolling logs' by serious dice afficionados.

And… once again my knowledge of arcane facets of the world is expanded.
I had no idea these existed.

It's interesting, but seems way to cumbersome if I need to roll four or more dice.

Also, rolling logs? LoL

I have one of those dice but I never knew it was called a rolling log. It was my gran's and the first die I ever had. I'd never seen another one until now. Thanks for that link, Phil.
