Anyone know of a mix / pot for tent canvas?

I've tried Vallejo Bone white but it looks a little creamy to my eyes and am a bit stuck as to a mix.

Thanks in advance

Is this one of those "militia" questions? A little help: what *color* of tent canvas? I never slept in one that wasn't OD.

Not that it matters, really. Canvas fades very quickly. You almost can't go wrong (although I say that with considerable trepidation).

I usually use Trail Tan from Delta Ceramcoat followed by their Ivory, put a diluted GW brown wash over it and then, when dry, dry brush it with the Ivory again.

Vallejo Model Color Deck Tan 110 is a good color for aged canvas.

Simple. New covers, like tents, are almost white, old ones are dark khaki and the rest are in between. Mix 'em up.

I'd go with Vallejo Deck Tan as well – then a sepia wash and white or off-white dry-brush. For a 'creamier' appearance use Stone Grey let down with a touch of white as the basecoat.

Vallejo Panzer Aces "Canvas", mix in light grey, a "bleached bone"-like colour or white to "fade".

Coat d'arms Bone triad – spot on and great for CS haversacks too!
