I came up with this little critter (6mm to top of head and 8mm to top of eyestalks), and I REALLY would love input from you guys: link Crazy idea alert . . . if Xenomorphs absorb some of the atributes of their host creature, what would happen if a Xenomorph chestbuster got into a fish??? Anyway . . . 1) Should I finish up the eyestalks, or should I remove them altogether and make the little guy's face look more like the face on a xenomorph? 2) Should I make the feet webbed or clawed? 3) Should I make any other changes to it? 4) What should I call it? Xenofish? Something else? 5) Or should I give up on the design altogether? After all, this is my second attempt at something like it: link Thanks guys, Dan PS. For those who worry and asked me to take it easy . . . I had 3 cortisone shots late last week, so I am feeling pretty good today. My fingers cooperated with my mental commands and the pain in my hands and arms is bearable right now. |

hah! I like it! Can it have goggles and some type of futurish-type clothing! I need those for my space ports! |

1)Finish them
but which species has the roving eyes that passed it on to this one? 2) Both
make them barbed fins. 3)Maybe some t-rex arm styled teensy vestigial barbed pectoral fins? Just to really sell that fished up goodness? 4)Piscenomorph? 5) Keep at it. It might not be your last go at aquatic Xenobiology, but it's headed in the right direction. |

Cute victim, wasn't it?
Or I can remove the eye stalks and leave the top of the head smooth, like this:

the Xeno thing is a cool idea, but I actually like these as their own race, I agree, give him little arms, I can see these guys wandering around a space port, or charging an enemy invader. |

"Little arms", "some t-rex arm styled teensy vestigial barbed pectoral fins". Guys, do you mean something like those on a SW Blurrg?
linkSpace is tight between the walking legs and the edge of the mouth: link Suggestions? Dan |

Or should I made them like the fleshy "tentacles" on a Lungfish?

Let's try that again:

I like the eyestalks. The shape of the body reminds of Jar Jar Binks's head. Very characterful. |
Gunner Dunbar | 23 Jun 2011 4:55 p.m. PST |
Arms rather then tentacle, just like the SW ones, you may have to either squeeze them in or elongate the body, then give them weapons, they would look cool. |

How about a longer eye-stalk (capable of reaching the mouth) with some sort of manipulatory cluster (tentacle/fingers) attached? Space fish or Imperial Proconsul? Your decide. |

Hmmm..a smooth header here ;) But why not combine the two..longer tentacles for a first grap and little arms for holding the prey or other functions :) |

Guys, What do you think of the name Xenoranha (as in xeno-piranha)? – my wife's suggestion Dan |
