It seems Peter is considering producing some more 1/144th scale aircraft, and I'm attempting to prod him into producing a large batch of Do-17's for fans of the Battle of Britain. See here for some of his other aircraft products, and feel free to let him know directly too, of your interest in 1/144th scale Do-17's: TMP link So, that being said, feel free to vote to determine how many customers, and aircraft he might need to produce for TMP'ers. 1. Heck yea, I'm on board with an immediate order! 2. Yes, if they are of decent quality 3. I could use some, but they aren't an urgent need 4. What's a Do-17, and why would anyone want one? Also, please vote below on the quantity desired: 1. 1, or 2 please 2. at least a vic of them (that means three, in English) 3. 4 – 6 aircraft 4. 9 – 12 5. 18+ Type of material desired: 1. I prefer metal 2. I prefer resin 3. I prefer plastic 4. Anything, but paper will do, as long as it's durable Please make sure to vote three times, once each in the appropriate categories, e.g. interest level, quantity desired, and preferred material. |

For me, 1, 4, 1 (but 4 will do for the material type, if I must compromise). |

1, 3 and 2 or 3 although metal wouldn't stop me from buying them. |

3, 3, 2 or 3 If I didn't already have several pre-painted Do-217s that stand in for Do-17s, my answer to the first question would be 1. |

Ok gentlemen, To let you know I have ordered a Do-17Z to be mastered! :-) First however is the Beaufort Mk.II and MK.VIII and a Spitfire Mk.VIII! I am Guessing that the Do-17 will be about 6 months away and the resin parts will be availabe first and decals will be a few months after that. Although I am sure most of you won't have any issues sourcing generic Luftwaffe decals. I will try to make this plane (as a basic kit (no wheels, undercarriage, props)) available for around A$15 plus postage how does that sound?? Peter |

Hi all, just to keep you in the loop so to speak. The Master for the Beaufort Mk.II and Mk.VIII are finished! The Spitfire Mk.VIII is being made now. Next will be the Do17Z. Then of course there is the time to make the molds. regards Peter |

Here are 2 pics of the first casting of the Do17z :) The resin cockpit is not shown but is done and the vacform cockpit pieces are yet to be done. For a 'wargamers' model (no props, closed undercarriage doors (yet to be made) and resin pieces for cockpit and nose glazing (instead of vacform)) price will be A$15. A$20 for addition of vacform canopy pieces, props and undercarriage and decals. NOT yet available as I need to make the closed u/carriage doors and cast a few for stock. ALSO, I am having a set of the early type BMW mark IV engines and a early cockpit/forward fuselage section made to allow conversion to the Do17E,P and M versions.
and here is the master from which the casting has been made:
I hope you like it? |
