Any advice appreciated. I am inclined to go with old glory because of the price. Under the 4 horse chariots are the horses in appropriate galluping poses or are they standing still? |

If you would consider 15mm then I can recommend Outpost Wargames Services who do really nice racing chariots: link Personally I think they look much better than using models of heavier war chariots. |

Historical or fantasy? For a fantasy game go with Kallistra. Undead chariots pulled by giant rats, barbarian chariots with rhinos, what's not to like? |

The Old Glory horses are gallopy. The crew is cast as one piece and not great. Magister Militum look a lot better, not a great cost difference: link |

I've been thinking about doing this with some of my Warmaster stuff. What rules are you going to use? Do you plan to allow magic? |

Don't have a ruleset chosen yet. May just use the old Avalon Hill rules with some modifications. |

You may want to consider 6mm then
at that scale, you can mount the chariots and teams on 1/2" squares — the same size as the AH chits from the game. (Irregular miniatures has actual Roman racing chariots, and I once found Greek Successor State ones that looked appropriate) Plus, the few carts I've seen in 10mm (even the ones above) aren't Ben Hur-ry enough |
