some years ago I ordered from a British company called Future Legends. They carried most of the old FASA line of Trek Ships in resin and did some of the ships FASA never did. Are they still around? I had heard that they might have gone belly up so figured I would see if anyone here has some news about them?

As far as I know all the moulds were sold on. Not sure exactly who to though.

You'd get more news from asking on the Starship Combat News Forums. The Future Legends guy posts over there as "1701".

Brian still sells some of his ships on ebay under seller name "subway75".

Yes he did sell the molds,to a guy who goes by membername "big pat" at Starship Combat News Forums.

Hope this helped.

Whatever you do, DON'T order from Big Pat. Unless of course you want to lose money! Lack of replies when querying your order and eventually get a reply of, "Hey man, sent it ages ago and the mould's broken now." Followed by silence and an inactive website.
There is a word for businesses like that…

Well, I have recently ordered from Pat. I admit his emails are somewhat slow in response. I should get my package this week. I'll follow up on this thread. I have never heard anything about him having issues at Starship Combat News. You'd think if a pattern of actions was present folks would discuss it there.

Thanks,

John

I too tried to order from Pat using private messaging system and could not get replies as to whether he actually made the ships I wanted to order from him.Plus it seems he is always having computer problems too,as well as constant delay of the store website going live.Noticed he has been silent recently over at SCN forums too now that you mention it.

Had heard he was running his business under name "Galactic Minis" for awhile and had read folks saying not to order from him thru there either.Saw those posts here at TMP.

He is supposed to be doing Cardassian fleets now as well as Dominion with other Trek races to come, but have not ordered anything yet due to both lack of funds as well as wanting to see if other folks received their orders and how quality of the ships are. So far have not heard anything about either one over at SCN.Would really like the Dominion ships but am waiting to see for now.

I ordered my Dominion ships from Ender not Pat. Timely shipping and VERY nice ships!

Thanks,

John
