I don't care if it pertains to your esthetic senses, or for its "Can't find me, I'm hiding!" functionality. Besides, if I tried to pin anyone down, they would ignore me anyway, this being TMP. This can be for anything, tanks, ships, planes, soldiers' uniforms, etc. PLEASE provide a link to a picture! 1) Silver and green aircraft: Soviet I-153 picture and a very similar pattern for a Japanese Sally bomber link Both to me look like they would be very effective viewed overhead. The first time I put that Sally on the table, it was almost disorienting. |

British Temperate DPM picture As worn by Brits, Kiwis, Bruneians. Remarkably effective, although now just been replaced with a desert/temperate mix which has an anti digital effect, and is therefore most jarring to the naked eye! |

Don't remember the name of it, but it is a german tank camoflauge from WWII that was a tannish-yellow base color with red brown splotches and streaks running through it. |

Two of my favorite are Russian: One, I've only seen on Sukhoi aircraft, a yellow and brown that I think of as "smog": link The second is used Russian Omon units for urban operations: link Then there's the weird Chinese blue digital camo for their tanks. I always thought there's have to be a huge crowd of cigaret smokers in the field for this one to work: link |

Another vote for DPM. Makes soldiers look like soldiers on the parade ground, amd like bushes in the field. All the best, John. |

I was heavily into Blue Max 1/72 biplanes, and did my fair share of lozenge camo. Top, bottom, 5 color, 4 color, night, day, etc. Workmanlike, but no real favorites. 2) Austrian Sworl (Since I seem to be the only one bothering to number them
) But, what I like a lot more was the Austrian sworl camo: picture I love the way that Germans and Austrians would obscure camouflage with honking huge personal emblems, or in this case, a Polish insignia for Post war Polish aircraft.. picture |

I always thought there's have to be a huge crowd of cigaret smokers in the field for this one to work Rarely a problem in China, believe me – Theres so much smoking go on on internal flights you can barely make out the illuminated no smoking sign to complain! |

My local surplus store--even rarer than brick and mortar hobby shops--had a pattern that I thought was hilarious. It wa a standard woodland design, but the colors were Red, Orange, Yellow, and Black. Iasked the owner who bought it. He told me in all seriousness that it was very popular with Turkey hunters in the south in the Fall. Yeah, if they were hiding in a forest fire. |

I, for one, like the looks of ACU digital camo. I know it isn't terribly practical and is going away in favor of multicam, but I like it nonetheless, especially for a sci-fi feel. picture |

Steel Penguin I had not seen the British Berlin Block camo but I am impressed. It soulds like a very good idea. Grand Duke Natokina The orange coloured camo protects the hunter against other hunters (seriously). Turkeys see in black and white so the disruptive element still works. Mick |
