I am especially looking for the OOP Minifig D&D fungi, but any will do.

Minifigs Fungi ?

Don't recall that at all.

Battle Works Studios26 May 2011 3:27 p.m. PST

These sort of things?

Pretty easy to sculpt, aren't they? Pretty much a mushroom with some vents for, well, shrieking? Unlike the violet fungus, they don't even need to be waving flesh-rotting tendrils around.

Pretty sure Grenadier had one in their not-D&D range – yep, here's one:

Oh, here's a current one from Otherworld, who are doing a sale right now IIRC:

Even comes with bits to make violet fungi.

Sculpey? Fimo? etc…?

flooglestreet26 May 2011 4:01 p.m. PST

I am no sculptor, I have not been able to put a convincing horn on an animal, let alone scratch build a mushroom. I sent in for the Otherworld fungi, thanks Battleworks.

Yeah, that was Grenadier, not Minifigs.

Would the mushrooms from Splintered Light's gnome range do? They actually have faces. Not very large, but a lot of variety.

Scroll down to almost bottom.

Also, don't know offhand, but does the plastic D&D range include one?

Battle Works Studios26 May 2011 4:32 p.m. PST

I tried a search for a DDM version and didn't turn one up, but I didn't try very hard and may have missed it. They certainly did odder/less udeful things.

doc mcb26 May 2011 4:55 p.m. PST

I looked and didn't find one either.

The Otherworld Shriekers/Violet Fungus are tops! Highly recommended!

Damon.

I thought you meant the creatures in the second Tremors film:

I think I have one or two but I don't think they are minifig.

krieghund27 May 2011 6:27 a.m. PST

Otherworld.

One of my (many) themed collections, floogle. Here's my list; some of these have already been mentioned above:

Shriekers:

o Citadel ADD62 Shrieker
o eM-4 Elfsera 6 Dungeon Monsters – includes double-headed Shrieker
o Goodman Games Dungeon Crawl Classics Deadly Fungus
o Grenadier 2012 Subterranean Terrors – includes Shriller
o Grenadier 5004 Tomb of Spells – includes Shrieker
o Heritage 1265 Plant Creatures – Shrieking Fungus (or Shrieker Fungus) and Purple Fungus (same sculpt with tentacles added)
o Metal Magic 8a Slime Monsters – Fungoid Screamer
o One Monk Miniatures Cave Monsters (paper miniatures) – includes Shrieking Fungus
o Otherworld DM11 Shriekers & Violet Fungi (3 Shriekers with separate tentacles)
o Pendragon PD117 Cavern Shrieker

Interestingly, despite their extensive line of minis for AD&D, I don't think Ral Partha ever did a Shrieker or Purple Fungus.

On to the Mushroom Men and Anthropomorphic Mushrooms:

o Citadel Mushling – Snotling turning into a Mushroom
o Citadel Snotroom – Round spore-like Snotling with legs
o Citadel Snotlings – Many other Snotlings wielding mushrooms as clubs, climbing mushrooms, etc.
o Foundry GPR41 Manic Mushrooms
o Grenadier 1503 Monster Manuscript Volume III – includes MM27 Fungoid
o Grendel F0010 Fantasy Forest – includes Carnivorous Fungi
o Hasslefree HFW500 Agarix A & B
o Hasslefree HFW501 Agarix C & D
o Iron Wind Metals 01-046 Mushroom Men (4) (same sculpts as Ral Partha 10-046)
o Khurasan PLA-15 Planet 15 Assault of the Fungoids (6)
o Mirliton CR025 Fungoid (same sculpt as Grenadier MM27)
o Ral Partha 01-046 Mushroom Men (4)
o Rapier Miniatures FAM006 Mini Mushroom Men (3)
o Rapier WTC012 Giant Mushroom Man, Flat Cap
o WTC013 Giant Mushroom Man, Tall Hat
o WTC014 Small Mushroom Men, Horde (6)
o Reaper 2679 Mushroom Men (2)
o Reaper 3041 Mushroom King
o Splintered Light GNOM08 Gnome Mushroom Herders (the Mushrooms have faces)
o WOTC D&D Abrerration Myconid Guard (prepainted plastic)
o Wyrd WYRCP004 Dire Mushrooms
o Zombiesmith Dikarya (Mushroom-Slugs)

And other assorted Mushrooms and Fungi:

o Acheson Mushrooms
o Armorcast ACM001 Mushrooms for Bases
o Black Orc Games Mushroom Mini Sculpt
o Black Tree Designs M142 Killer Fungi (random mix of 6)
o Evil Bob's Resin Mushrooms
o Fantasy Forge FA02 Mushrooms (4 different with 8 pieces total)
o Fiendish Fabrications Mushroom Forest (3 sets)
o Foundry ORCP017 Orcling Booze Up (Drunken Orclings/Snotlings under a giant Mushroom)
o Grendel 10019 Fungi (2 sets of 2)
o Grendel 20061 Shaman's Fungi
o Iron Wind Metals 10-019 Fungus (same sculpts as Grendel 10019)
o MegaMinis DEAL20043 Mushrooms
o Pendragon PD90 Fungi (3)
o Ramshackle Mushrooms
o Reaper 2695 Fungus Patch
o Tinman Miniatures Mushrooms
o WOTC D&D Demonweb Deathcap Mushroom

That's all I know of. If anyone can add to the list, please do so.
