I recently aquired a copy of Rogue Trader at a good price from eBay. The only 'problem' with it (which I was aware of at the time of purchase) was that the pull out sheets at the back were missing.

From a quick read of the rules I don't find anything that suggests these are needed to play. The only thing that stands out is reference to turning templates, but it looks like I can just make these myself. Other things, like quick reference sheets, the counters and info for the supplied scenario I can live without.

So the question is, do these sheets contain anything I might actually miss? Can somone who has these rules let me know? Thanks!

nope just makes playing the game easier if you have not memorized the tables. and the mods…. you can make your own Overwatch and wound counters.

The only templates are the round ones for blast markers; 0.5", 1", 1.5", 2" and 3" radius templates are required.

Great, thanks. I have counters from other games and I'm sure I can copy any charts I need from the main text. I noticed it does have summary sheets at the back which are not tear-out, so I still have them.

Andrew: thanks. Round templates are easy enough to make! :)

Some of those sheets in the back of Rogue Trader are also reference for the 'Battle At The Farm' scenario… hopefully those aren't missing.

Yeah, the Battle at the Farm scenario is the only thing from those pages that can't be found elsewhere in the book, or made for yourself (i.e. round templates). Parts of it appear in the main book, but you'll be missing the briefing notes.

If you're not bothered about that scenario, then you haven't really lost out.

Yeah, the only page left in was the player marine/ork handout. But to be honest I'm not bothered about playing that scenario. Instead I'm going to be painting up my genestealers, terminators, marines, imperial guard and eldar which I have never properly used over the last 15 or so years!

Oh, and ratling snipers. Haha.

Oh man… I like that scenario… I started building some new terrain for it about a month ago.
Probably just 'nostalgia'…

I so miss 40 gobo's in a battlewagon with auto-guns. :)

A hundred years from now people will still be buying laminated pages of "Rogue Trader" to push their ancient pieces of lead and plastic around the board.

Haha. Might be true. StarGrunt2 is my favourite sci-fi rule set, but there is something about RT that just makes me want to try it, with my old GW figures but also all my Star Wars stuff.
