Bob, I thought you were on vacation! You shouldn't waste your valuable beach time responding to every mischievous post ;-)

Semi-vacation Johnny. My wife is working at the lab here and I'm sculpting and have brought a limited amount of stock so I can fill orders while it lasts. We have to leave the garden to get internet so I get on-line every few days.

The main advantage is the warm ocean breeze, the secluded beach, the quiet and my bottle of Hana Bay Rum. I can see the ocean from where I'm typing right now!

Aloha!

Oh the life of a successful artist. Just like van Gogh.

French colonial forces ala Casablanca or perhaps for an expedition into the wilds of West Africa's darkest interior… Tirailleurs, a cynical but lovable French officer, his loyal Senegalese orderly, a femme fatale…evil grin

Fallout leader

Which Orson Welles? The medium weight "The Shadow" Orson Welles, or the hefty "The Third Man" Orson Welles, or the fat "Touch of Evil" Orson Welles?

A set of Errol Flynn minis would be cool. Captain Peter Blood, General Custer, Geoffrey Thorpe (The Sea Hawk) and Robin Hood. Maybe Wade Hatton (Dodge City) and a boxing figure of Gentleman Jim Corbett too.

Bob Murch05 Feb 2012 8:42 p.m. PST

I'm afraid "Touch of Evil" Orson Welles would get my vote just because it has the best potential for looking distinctive.

"The Third Man" Harry Lime is a great character though. You can get familiar with Harry through the old radio show "The Third Man". Welles played the character there as well.

In the film "The Third Man" Harry Lime is a truly evil S.O.B who has a racket stealing penicillin from military hospitals, diluting it and selling it on the black market. On the radio show he's more of a likeable "confidence man". I like the show quite a bit and I suspect that it would have had a longer run if it had begun in the early 1940's rather than in 1951 when radio drama was rapidly giving way to television. Welles was a natural for radio. He had a very charismatic and engaging voice that I like listening to on all of his radio shows.
