I thought I saw something a little while back that Perry Brothers is working on an AWI Plastic kit but I haven't heard anything about a release date. Does anyone know when these should be out and what the box will have? I am assuming it will probably be regulars that would be usable as British or Continentals, so I am holding off buying metals of them and have instead been focusing on militia figs (which since I am collecting for the South I will need a lot of for both sides).

If you search this very site you'll find the news item that had an explanation from the Perrys and some photos of the "3-ups."

They seemed to go out of their way to NOT promise a release date for any of the next plastic boxed sets, so as not to falsely get up hopes until much closer to the release date, and I respect them for doing so. I'm looking forward to the new AWI infantry kit as well- I hope they finish it off next!

My impression was the box would be British regulars only, with a choice of 4(?) different headgear. Best guess is 6 basic poses plus a command sprue, for a total of 40ish infantry.
