does anybody make 15mm robots? i'm looking for something along the lines of Copplestone's Terminator Robots, or em4's Skeletal Robots, but any anthropoid warbots will do. T.I.A.

I don't know if they're what you're looking for or not, but you might want to take a look at the "M.O.D." (Machines of Destruction) pieces from Risk 2210.

I own the game, and found that the pieces make adequate 15mm robots, as well as light 'mechs for microscale games such as Dirtside.

If you don't want to buy the game just for the pieces, you might be able to find them for sale separately. I bought a spare set from www.svgames.com last year. However, I just checked and, unfortunately, they no longer sell the MODs by themselves.

Hope this helps!

Check out Ground Zero Game's 6mm Dirtside II line, there are some walkers in there that would make excellent 15mm scale robots, though they are not skeletal.

If anyone knows of some 15mm 'terminator' style skeletal robots, please let us know! I am also trying to find such a thing!

chaos engineer- Would you be at all interested in doing something with Eureka's 300 Club?

chaos engineer25 May 2004 7:08 p.m. PST

@Ivan DBA: the 300 Club is a great idea! i'd be willing to put in for 20 of them. but what about pictures? do you have any artwork we could send them?

Ivan DBA26 May 2004 2:21 p.m. PST

hmmm.. I will see about some artwork. My sister is a bit of an artist, maybe I could get her to make some concept sketches. Copplestone's robots are awesome, I really wish we could get something like that in 15mm.

I also only need a limited number, maybe 20-30, but even so thats a start, if we can some up with some concept art and get in in Eureka's 300 club, you never know, there might be enough demand for it to happen eventually. We should post about it over on the 15mm Sci Fi Yahoo group, there might be some people interested there as well.
