I have read the threads on BTD with great interest over the months and years , and its seems obvious that they can at times lack in the customer service relations department. I must admit though i have not once had any problems with them. Over the past 2 years i have made 3 orders from BTD UK , two substantial and one small, all arrived within 10 to 14 days to the republic of Ireland ,all complete orders. It gets me wondering, whilst in no way playing down the trouble others have had , how many of us have had no problems at all? |

Anecdotal evidence suggests it has to do with what you order, which office your order lands in, the alignment of the planets, the number of spoons in your possession, and the Will of Zardoz. Good luck. |

I have had no problems either. They were actually very helpful. |

I am happy for you. My latest order took 3 weeks. We won't talk about the one before that. mjc |

I've had very good luck with my orders and have never had to chase them for anything. Unlike some other retailers I have used. I noticed my last Dr Who order came from the US for a change. I live in NZ BTW. |

They owe me money. They won't respond to any effort to communicate with them. |

Bill always mentions the money issue when BTD comes up. Time to get over it, Bill, and move on. Kind of like moving on after being dumped by a girlfriend. ;-) |

if they owed me money i'd be taking extreme steps to get it back not getting over it
never dealt with them – they have few things i might like, but the comments of others have stopped me iving them money. live by the (poor customer service) sword die by the

I reckon it's a valid point re. Bill's money. Threads like this give the impression that, just because they've managed to get an order through in a reasonable time, everything's on the up-and-up. It isn't. Reputable companies pay their bills. (Bills? see what I did there?) Getting a public reminder on a (ahem) well-known site like this one is no more than they deserve, and a useful caveat emptor to those considering doing business with them. Also, it's pretty funny. There was an episode of 'Morcambe and Wise' in 1969 with Peter Cushing doing a guest spot. Every so often in subsequent shows, Peter would show up backstage complaining that he hadn't been paid. They kept it up until 1980. Bill & BTD remind me of it. :) |

They still owe me figures from over 12 months ago. Emails are not answered. And I know others still in the same boat. One order going through, does not make them a reliable or efficient company with good customer services. When TMP members have to resort to legal action to get moneys back, it should tell people something about the company. |

I've just taken delivery of some Zulu Wars Brits. It was a smallish order (around £25) as I was wary of spending more and "losing" it. I got emails every step of the way and pretty fast delivery to the Czech Republic, despite the fact that half the country (including the post office) has gone on holiday – two bank holidays in the week, without which I am sure it would have been faster. I was burnt by them once in the past, but I decided to give them another go – it seems to have paid off. |
