So, what does it look like it could be?

I just couldn't pass up the $2 USD water pistol at Michael's. I had to chop it up and take pics.

Hope it inspires others to other fun options.

Sorry about the bad lighting.

Very Nautilus-esque… my vote's for submarine/alien craft.

Hi Dan, I'm thinking large AFV for an alien race, maybe crusties?

Grelber11 May 2011 5:08 a.m. PST

It has a snail-like look to it. Perhaps a hybrid of life form and machine.

Works as alien sub, shuttle, or APC. Nice find!

You the man for bargoons! I would do with an alien (or VSF) sub

I'd use the bottom half (with the handle) the other way up (ie where you have cut it now being the bottom) and it can then be a surfaced alien/VSF submarine with weird conning tower. that way both halves can be adapted to 15mm goodies :-)

Saw somebody on the spaceship forum do similar but just cut off the handle and put on sticks. However, the same would go well for near full hull submersibles.

Would go well with my 'terror fish' that's still not done. *sigh*

However, my first view was 'it's a slug…' ;->=

@Grelber Two great minds…

But, a proper paint job will sort that out.

Looks like a biomechanical slug tank to me.

Hmm. For the front of the "craft", are you guys looking at it on the right or the left?

To me, the right side of the photo is the front. The "fill-'er-up" end of the squirt gun.

Cacique Caribe11 May 2011 11:46 a.m. PST

Ahh. I was looking at the side that looked like an angry eye on the left.

Am I the only one who thinks it resembles an angry engorged clitoris

Thor: Yes.

Good thing that's only $2… I can afford a couple!
