John:

You said, "Buck, the only issue I can think of is how to deal with smaller unit sizes in the rules. Even Jedi could be rated up pretty easily. Now you have me thinking!"

Remember that GASLIGHT goes from small skirmishes (even role-playing games) to the larger battles you mention. To Be Continued… by GASLIGHT is more detailed to enable players to have fun with just three or four figures a piece. The beauty of GASLIHGT, in my biased opinion, is that you can scale it to your needs and tastes by selecting segements from one book and using it with another. We worked very had to make the books COMPLETELY compatible. In the recently released GASLIGHT Compendium, the content from all four of the original books is included (along with some news stuff), and it is organized in a "Chinese menu" format to make it easier to customize your GASLIGHT games. I think GASLIGHT could easily handle small actions on 2'x2' tables with mostly Main Characters or the attack on the Rebel base at the beginning of The Empire Strikes Back.

I don't think GASLIGHT would be my first choice for the attack on the Death Star in either A New Hope or Return of the Jedi. You might want to consider War Rocket for that.
