I'm trying to find some suitable prxoies for van saar for a necromunda campaign (as I probably won't win the figures I'm bidding on on ebay) and I don't want to have to buy 2 boxes from GW to get my 12 gangers. I need 5 gangers with autogun/lasgun, 5 juves with pistol and stub gun, 1 heavy with a heavy stubber and one leader with las-rifle,las-pistol. I've not found anything I like with the old void/ikore/urban mammoth stuff, I don't like the Warzone figures, I don't want to use my Grymn so suggestions please! Thanks Alien |

Kneepads and jumpsuits with a techie look to them, right? How about the plastic gangers from Gangs of Mega-City One? They're OOP, but there's a set cheapish on ebay: auction |

maybe not enough for an entire group, but there's a couple usable miniatures here in the alphaforge line link , especially the lady with sniper rifle and gang member with twin blasters. Alternatively, if you didn't mind figures that are slightly up-armored from van saar, you could make an entire gang of the "medium tactical infantry." I forgot to get them with my last order, but I'll definitely be picking the two figures mentioned above to suplement my van saar the next order I make. |

If you do not win them on ebay, and can take the added postage from the US in stride, I have a gang here I do not use. Email me at pancerni@sbcglobal.net for details if you come up empty on alternatives. Joe Fish |

I am thinking eldar guardians with all the gems removed, a backpack covering the vents, and normal human heads might work. |

Eldar Guardians are probably one of the best options. The look is right, and being plastic, they're easily convertable and relatively inexpensive. I've seen them used effectively as the base for Imperial assasins as well. Also if you can get some older plastic or metal guardians, they are a bit smaller than the new ones and would serve well as juves. |
