I was hoping that some one could help me find some
police cars that would work for 15mm. I have been to the
walmarts and places looking for hot wheels but what I would really like are some cars that are realistic. I really would
like a chevy Impala 2001-2005 model and Ford Crown Vic.
I plan on trying to repaint them to match the Wichita Police
cars for a future zombie game. So far everything is like 1950's or 1970's stuff that I have found.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks that will work. I can use the white crown vic and
make it a black and white and paint a gold stripe down the
length of the car. To bad they dont have any of the Impala's
but the crown vic is what they are driving now anyway.

David,

Looks around a little, since Model Power makes a LOT of police cars from various parts of the country. They have Shariff, Highway patrol, State police etc, so likely there is something sloe to what you want without having to paint it. They have an Exclusive collection where they do limited runs of specific police departments. I know my local Hobby Town has tons of various police vehicles. I would go take a look for you, but right now just don't have the time. If you don't find what you need, let me know and I will take a look at my Hobby Town (largest in the country) when I get a chance.

Thanks a lot guys. I just saw the Ill. State Police car.
It already has the gold stripe on the side it would be much
easier to make it a black and white. then just paint Wichita Police on the gold stripe, excellant.
I have a very good friend on the Wichita police force. We
game a lot but I thought this could be a good way of getting him involved with the miniatures aspect of wargaming:) I have some of Rebels police and am going to
paint them up with Wichita uniforms (a tan shirt with
a darker brown pants with a forest green stripe. Actually
if you see their pants in the sunlight they have a lavender
hue to them. kind of a odd color but it looks good. LOL i'm always teasing him about that)
