I was in Lidl today and spied a grass mat for sale. 1m x 2m for about £6.00 GBP pictures for review on my blog here: link Like most Lidl stock I doubt they'll be around for long. |

This is nice, Is there a maker, other than Lidl? |

The brand name seems to be Florabest, who do a whole range of budget garden goods for Lidl. Looking at the label it's manufactured by a Belgian company called Orotex, who are a carpet manufacturer, so I doubt if you can source direct. |

Picked one up from them last year, absolute bargain. |

Duly noted, and obtained! Absolute bargain: good, natural-looking medium green colour, and a tightly-woven flat carpet texture only a little rougher than heavy felt. Thanks for the heads-up, A-K. |

I got my mat today! I was lucky as the store had sold out but a guy earlier this morning had returned it as it wasn't what he wanted (obviously not a wargamer)As per N D Landings comments – a great buy! Cheers for that A K |
