I think there are a couple of other Martian Chronicles scenes that show a boat, but I can't seem to find them at the moment.

Well, boats kinda look like boats because form follows function.

But that being said Chris Foss has some interesting ships. But for the life of me I can't find any good examples right now.

Future Wars, or Dirtside minis in 6mm, produced by GZG have a couple of futuristic boats.

One is a missile boat, if I recall correctly.

Shouldn't grav-cars, tanks etc like Luke's speeder be able to cross water?

Though I guess it'd be rather tricky if you stalled half-way, maybe emergency airbag-style flotation baloons?
