From the ST Animated Series: link link From the 1980 Martian Chronicles tv series (first few seconds only): YouTube link One more Martian Chronicles clip (starts at 3:50): link And at 5:23 here: link I think there are a couple of other Martian Chronicles scenes that show a boat, but I can't seem to find them at the moment. QUESTION: Have you found any other boat types in your wanderings through SF worlds? Dan |

Well, boats kinda look like boats because form follows function. But that being said Chris Foss has some interesting ships. But for the life of me I can't find any good examples right now. |

Future Wars, or Dirtside minis in 6mm, produced by GZG have a couple of futuristic boats. One is a missile boat, if I recall correctly. |

Shouldn't grav-cars, tanks etc like Luke's speeder be able to cross water? Though I guess it'd be rather tricky if you stalled half-way, maybe emergency airbag-style flotation baloons? |

Here's a cool example already being used: picture And I guess that, like concept cars, there are also concept boats: link link Dan |
