Title states it all as I am putting together a prehistoric safari game and a mammoth or three would be nice for the game.Other prehistoric mammal figure suggestions are also welcome. Thanks, Kim |

Hobby Lobby has sold a hard plastic Mammoth suitable for 28mm probably done by Safari or Papo fairly well rendered. |

Try Michael's. I know they have other dinos, not sure about Mammoths, though. I am currently stocking up on their Dragons (one 40% coupon at a time) |

I've been looking for some too. I know Michael's doesn't carry a Mammoth because I've checked them all. I may have to look at new, local Hobby Lobby. |

The Carnegie toy mammoth is one that I own and is in my opinion one of the best looking of the toy versions out there. However, it is 1/40 scale and therefore a really big mammoth when being used with 28 mm figures which normally are about 1/56 scale. Now perhaps I should not be too concerned about this as afterall this is for a Tooth and Claw game i.e. pulp type scenario. I also like the Schliech Mammoth that Cloud Captian posted the link to and it seems a bit smaller from the photo. I seem to recall a recent TMP News posting about a new mammoth model that looked very good but I was not able to locate the article. The Primeval Designs are nice I wonder how fast their shipping is? |

We used to have a mammoth that someone made that had Vikings on it. It had multiple howdahs too – one on each side and one on the top. It also had a rider up front with a horn. |

The DeeZee Mammoths from Trent Miniatures are brilliant, but you'll have to take my word for it as there are no pictures yet. link |

The original DeeZee minis were originally sculpted by Richard Deasey who is Primaeval Designs. I am not sure if the current offerings are based on those original sculpts or not. -Eli |
