Still not quite in production, but at least we've got some photos of the rest of the second wave buildings for you to look at:

They're a little rougher castings than the final versions will be, but close enough to give the general idea. We'll be selling the two new buildings in sets with the freestanding barrel clusters and scrap, respectively. If there's enough demand we may offer the loose stuff independently as well, haven't quite decided on that yet.

The crate stacks look good but wouldn't wood be outdated? Perhaps something like this:

could be modeled.

The crates aren't part of the scifi range, and are actually in full production – they're on the 28mm Terrain page here:

I should take them off the WIP page, although I still need to get the pure 15mm versions done one of these days.

I love the Junkyard Treasures set! As easy as it sounds to make scrap and junk piles, I've never had much success actually sitting down and doing it.

Baddaski: Pelican or Hardigg-style cases would seem the way to go for modern to sci-fi crate stacks. The US military uses the heck out of these things:

I like them. Looking forward to ordering the whole set when they are done.

Incidentally, they look pretty good when you kitbash the heck out of them too:

They look great. I'll be needing some buildings for post apocalyptic soon. I just ordered my first PA figures from Khurasan, Rebel, and Highlander Studios.

I must say I am not rich enough. I want 2 of everything….

We're hoping to keep the costs down on this batch. Not having to assemble those telescoping masts by hand helps quite a bit – those things are a huge time sink for us.

I like the kitbash – I'm planning on doing something like that myself to 'personalise' precast resin and metal sci fi buildings grouped and based on 1ft MDF bases.

Love the buildings!

Here's my take on future crates:
