According to this study link the Russian administration provided Cossacks with turok: 'a kind of short-barreled, smoothbore, wide-mouthed hunting firearm, akin to a shotgun' – a kind of blunderbuss, then?
Does someone know a link to an illustration? A Google search is saturated by links devoted to a video game of that name!
