First chariot for my DBA I/22 army is ready. Model by Venexia Miniatures, some things added, like chariot runner, shields and reins. More photos on my blog.

nice painting, what did you think of the model to work with?

I loved their Sherden, but was not so keen on their Sea Peoples castings.

Oh, I see, English below the Polish

Miniatures from Egyptian line of Venexia Miniatures vary tremendously. Some are just plain bad – as spearmen. They are cast "as in late 70s". Weapons are casted with miniature, poles just bend around bodies. Some, as Sherden, are nice. Horses are excellent. Archers are so, so. My biggest gripe is lack of quality control, I've got 2 miniatures with missing hands in one 8 miniature pack. There is also issue of only one pose (spearmen got two).
There are some positives too – hands (if present;)) are delicate and nice, very good faces, nice but not very deep musculature.

Very nicely done – interesting comment about the size creep and need for deeper stands. I would hope that the extra 10mm is not an issue.
