I am looking for a list of the units involved in this battle. Does anyone know of online or print resources for this battle? Many Thanks!

The boardgame enclosed in issue 7 of the magazine "Soldados y Estrategia" ( recently having its name changed to "Wargames" ) was in fact published in co-operation with Simtac-Ludopress ( pubisher of the magazine "Alea" as well as several high quality boardgames in Spanish ) . Simtac-Ludopress website is inactive these last days, but you can try and get into contact with "Wargames" team at revistasprofesionales.com On tbe other hand, I know about a website dealing with the whole Spanish Succession War, from the point of view of the Kingom of Aragon, which embraced the cause of Archduke Charles ( thus entering war against Castile and France ) . This website URL is webpersonal.net/moria/. You'll find that it's written entirely in Catalan, but with a knowledge of French or Spanish you should manage well inside its pages. Once in its Home page, click on the "Batalles" button to get into its Battles section. Cheers, Lluís Catalonia ( Spain ) |

Almena ediciones has published this month a book (Osprey Campaign format) upon Almansa. I don't read it yet and it is in Spanish. |
