Pudgy enough, but I shudder to think what his French accent would sound like. Or Corsican. Whatever. |

Would he and Blucher be set down on a planet with the means to kill one another if they could only see it? |
Der Alte Fritz | 08 Mar 2011 6:29 p.m. PST |
Well, Captain Kirk was certainly shagging everything that moved on each of the planets that he visited. So in that sense, he is sort of like Napoleon. |
Captain Gideon | 08 Mar 2011 6:32 p.m. PST |
I'm sorry but Shatner as Napoleon won't do at all. Now if they could find someone like Rod Steiger to play Napoleon then I'll go along with that, since I truely believe that Steiger was Napoleon as far as I'm concerned. Captain Gideon |

Charlie Sheen. Like Napoleon, he is a winner, and has never-ever lost a battle – in his own estimation. |

I remember a movie that Shatner did very early on,about some sort of demon, that was done in Italian(don't recall the title). There were subtitles,so there were none of Shatner's "methodical" voice at all. So,maybe something in French. |

Rod Steiger set the bar pretty high, could be tough to find a better actor for th epart. |
Battle Works Studios | 08 Mar 2011 8:07 p.m. PST |
I remember a movie that Shatner did very early on,about some sort of demon, that was done in Italian(don't recall the title). The movie was Incubus, and it was in Esperanto, not Italian. One of his few undeniable talents is the ability to speak an artificial language used by a vanishingly small subsection of humanity. Also makes him a perfect choice if they ever film a Stainless Steel Rat movie. |
Condottiere | 08 Mar 2011 8:27 p.m. PST |
Surely better than Rod Steiger! |
BrigadeGames | 08 Mar 2011 8:27 p.m. PST |
"Charlie Sheen. Like Napoleon, he is a winner, and has never-ever lost a battle – in his own estimation." Yes but the movie would be no good as he would blink for every battle and win. |

No, no, no. Joe Peschi is Napoleon; really. Can't you just picture the high pitched voice now?! LOL And whoever keeps saying a Frenchman should play Napoleon forgets that Napoleon was Corsican/Italian and his French was accented (he was not popular at the military school he attended) |

Napoleon = Bruce Willis. Ney = Will Ferrell Grouchy = Morgan Freeman D'Erlon = Ralph Macchio Wellington = Daniel Craig Picton = Tom Jones Blucher = Max Von Sydow Gneisenau = Dolf Lundgrun Prince of Orange = That lad from Harry Potter. Not the most authentic looking, but a much better movie. A sure fire ratings winner. I see this as a comback hit for macchio, and Von Sydows opus magnus. Ney will provide light comic relief in the manner of Gimli, and Tom Jones will ham up the Welshness of Picton by singing Men of Harlech with the 30th, who will be Welsh now. The Imperial Guard will march to its doom and die to a man, led by Gerard Depardieu. Who will scream the worst Anglo Saxon swear word ever as "merde" is far to mild for a modern audience. Highlanders will be unrelentingly bad ass, and will be seen mooning the French.. and possibly the English and be led by zwei hander carrying officers. In one scene a soldier (90% chance of being Highland) will throw his musket like a javelin and harpoon a curassier general, played by a WCW wrestler, killing him and his shire horse/bear/rhino. Every infantry vs infantry encounter seen will be decided by the bayonet. Wellington and Napoleon will duel during the massacre of the imperial guard, both will wound the other, but Wellington will be knocked down and as he is about to be killed by Napoleon, Blucher will throw a sword and wound Napoleon who will be dragged away by Ney. I predict 6 to 8 nominations at the oscars, including best screen play and best script, and excpect to take 60 million in the first three days. "ho ho ho. Now I have a nine pounder" |
