"Trying to reach Phil Walling" Topic

of firezone studios. Lost contact and want to know if he is ok. Does anyone know if Phil is ok?

I'd like to contact his as well. He was supposed to have sent me some figures a few weeks ago but has dropped of the radar again. I do hope all is OK but it is annoying none the less…

I didn't want to phone as I know he was have some problems, and it's only for some stuff I paid for 5-6 weeks ago. It's just getting a message they are being sent (couple of times) then gaps between contact and now none I was hoping someone here on TMP knows him and that all is ok. I've waited long enough for the figures that I can wait longer – but I am due to move at the end of the month all being well, and whilst I can use my old address for post (as it's still family) I'd rather have things sorted before then.

Thanks though – phone might be my lasy resort as I know he runs a busniess on that line and don't want to disturb him unless necessary – just I could really use the star wars figures he's sold me soon as going to be running some games :-)

If he is having problems, you are probably going to have to wait longer, if history is any indicator.

Sorry to hear that though, as he is one of the few painters that does 6mm well.

Why not phone?
He runs a business and has entered a contract and does not appear to be delivering, just taking peoples money.

There are people that are waiting on hundreds of dollars worth of orders from Firezone Studios if posts on various forums are to be believed.

A small business is still a business and needs to act accordingly.

I've been in a similar spot, and he came through for me. Don't worry about phoning, he hasn't answered yet. ;-)

Perhaps send a text via his mobile, it's the first step between emailling and phoning him.

Thanks Phil. It's not a major thing, but I think over a month to drop something is the post is a reasonable time to wait. I'll try texting as you suggest as I don't want to hassle too much – but I do want my toys (to let loose on poor unsuspecting gaming group buddies)…….

I'm sure he'd rather you phoned him before publicly speculating about him.

I'm not speculating Mark, I asked on here if anyone knew him and if he is alright as he was in communication – within a day or so of an email, and now nothing. Also, as I stated, I am more concerned about Phil than getting the goods I paid for, but think what you will, people often do on here.

Phil has posted an update on his blog. He's not well at the moment.

I'm happy to wait. His health takes priority over a few figures…

Bumping this – both his website and blog reporting 'this website is temporarily unavailable'. Anyone have any news on Phil – I'm hoping he's recovering well and perhaps has forgotten to renew or something.

hmm, well Phil seems to be fine – his Twitter account is fine and he's not back in hospital so good news there!

I just wish he would make some effort to keep people updated to avoid people getting annoyed…

Trying to figure out how to message him via twitter as his stire is still down and no replies from emails.

Andy, I've messaged him on his Twitter page, perhaps as his last post was the 9th (and he's been active) he may reply, as emails are going unanswered.

Does anyone on TMP know Phil personally or are able to drop him a line, otherwise I am going to instruct paypal to recoup the money, and if they fail, I'll get the bank onto it, and worst case I'll go small claims court as it's beyond reasonable now :-(
