Its all a matter of personal taste and what you feel "looks right". I tend to look at it from the perspective of which one of my gaming buddies is "in Scale". If my usual group of gaming buddies in Stratford were a "unit", I dare say that, as a group, we differ in height by about 12", in width by about 6", and by weight by 100 pounds. So to muddle the question, "which one of us is the right scale"? If we were a unit of figures, people would say that we don't "look right" (actually, I think my wife said that, but that's another story…). Bottom line, enjoy your gaming and figures, and celebrate the differences in people's taste in scales.

Viper 4 Dan you have,as I read your text I am really glad to see someone thinks just like me on this matter itīs amazing.

I agree in terms of figures,I have started this topic to see what scale people like best for their 28mm figures…

Lots of us like 1/56,for vehicles but also 1/50…

It would benefit all of us if there was a final decision on what scale is best, but who will decide?the costumes have the final word as they will be buying or not but a more official number or vehicle scale would help.

Being a producer my aim is to cater the market with figures, and vehicles that "blend in" with other brands.

I do know many out there are smaller at 25mm but are sold as 28mm so are some tanks…and this is where thing go
South.

Here in Portugal we only have a couple of stores and they both "inclined" towards 40K and Fantasy…so the number of players for Historic WW2 28mm games is quite scarce but I will do my best!

Frankly, I find 28mm chariot vehicles go quite well with 28mm spearmen and archers.
