I'm looking to make some custom figures based on the ones from the Heroscape game. In the game there are a bunch of figures that are valkyrie, or basically large winged humans. Here are some pictures:

What I'm looking for is a line of figures that are slightly larger than most 28mm humans. I'd like to find a diverse bunch, but if not I could probably convert some. For the most part, I'd need male figures with bare chests and lots of muscles. Even still, I'd be okay with some armor. There are also some female valkyrie, but I don't think it would matter if those figures were human sized.

After looking around, the best match I found were Ex Illis archangels.

From what I tell, they are larger than the human sized figures. Though the only thing is they are realistically proportioned instead of in heroic scale. Anybody bought these figures? It looks like they're plastic too, which would be helpful for conversions.

You can check out Lucifer wars… theyare listed at 25mm but they are larger than that and many of Devils/demons are quite a bit bigger.

Also I bleive the warlord line of figs might have an angel or two and they are around 32mm.

Take a trawl through the Reaper store: link . The Sandra Garrity angels are excellent minis.

Ral Partha made some Arch-Angels and an Angel of Death that were over 32mm.
