I would change the smoke bombardment rules so that the ranging in token could be placed anywhere on the table within the shooting gun team's/artillery piece's maximum range. Respectfully, Norman of Torn |

I was just thinking that it would be nice to randomize hit distribution on a platoon/company. Let all stands or vehicles in the "beaten zone" have an equal chance of being hit. No saving the platoon/company commander, the Komissar, the PIAT or bazooka guys, the observer to the end. No "Bailed out" tanks being saved for last, etc. No "soaking off" with the T34/76s and saving the T34/57s or T34/85s. I realize that this might mean you have to bring in a >gasp! horror!< D20
But, we all have them hanging around anyway. |

I'd introduce a nice big resin car park so that all the AFV's could park a little closer together. |

Would the car park have gas stations, 1940's style attendants and a digital chip with 1940s big band music that would be activated when one clumps up their AFVs or vehicles in it? Options would include a Michelin Guide dispenser for the Boche touristas, unisex porta-potties and a 1940's version of a McDonald's. Thanks SPC
wanna' build me one? Perhaps a 2x2 terrain square to fit my game table? That would be a hoot! I definitely have too much time on my hands today! |

"I'd make the artillery template round." One of the earlier poster posted this and I seriously don't understand why you would make it round. WW2 and even some modern day artillery fire based off map grids which are square. So essentially it's a simulation of firing on a map grid. Making it round like in those Fantasy/Sci Fi evil empire games is simulating an explosive BLAST from one weapon. With the scale of the game it's a simulation of firing on a grid reference and thus it makes perfect sense.
Round on the other hand makes no sense. Artillery also fired in brackets so they worked their way across a section of ground to get maximum effect within the grid. |

The dispersion of rounds in a platoon or battery sheaf depend on two factors: the arrangements of firing units (tubes, guns) in the firing position, and the directions given to the guns. Generally, a rectangle would give the most typical representation of the beaten zone. See: link Allen |

For each vehicle under the template add a cumulative +1 to hit for each vehile. I also like the idea of a 4+ gun team save, you might actually see the rare and elusive HMG. |

I would drop polls like this. Love the game as is. |

Now, now, you haters
We have already had a Poll on what is bad about FoW. So, you have already been served. Gee, John you sure do know how to take all the fun out of someone. Well there are other FOW posts though. |
