I recently bought some ships on ebay, and I have no idea what they are: link Can anyone help me out? |
Only Warlock | 26 Feb 2011 12:30 p.m. PST |
Those are from Silent death and are space fighters. |

The camo is doing a fine job of 'dazzling' me. ;->= However, I think the two smaller are Silent Death Beta Fortresses. The larger might be a MegaFortress, or the updated Betas. I think they went through a design change. Doug |

Thanks, Only Warlock. Doug, you're right regarding the larger ship: link link Von Ted, I don't think the smaller ones are Hamilcars. |
Only Warlock | 26 Feb 2011 1:28 p.m. PST |
the smaller ones are "Sentry" class ships iirc |

Desertscrb, what's the huge dreadnaught on your header? I've got one and I've been trying to ID it for a while |
Volstagg Vanir | 26 Feb 2011 5:55 p.m. PST |
>Buff That is a Victory Class Super Galactic Dreadnaught, originally from Superior but now available from Monday Knight: link (DesertScrb is our local Galactic Knights enthusiast) link (DesertScrb> I wouldn't mind getting in a game sometime; next time I'm in the Austin area
) |

@Only Warlock That's what I was thinking, but not these Sentries. link I've not played much Silent Death, but have picked up a fair number of ships, going back to several still in Space Master blisters. Over the years, It seemed some new designs took on old names, some old ships got brought back under new names, even old Traveller ships reused. I never could keep up. Doug |

I like that one
why's don't you design a Galactic Knight's Ship for it and let's post it! I do not think Mike at Iron Wind would mind. -Will |

Those are ships from Silent Death: The Next Millennium. They were originally the Sentry and the Betafortress in 1st edition, and after yours truly redesigned them to give them new personae in the current edition, they became the Sapper (House Colos specialty minesweeper/assault fighter) and the Nemesis (really naaasty gunboat for the Fighter Tactics Manual). For the record, all of the 1st edition minis have since received new names and stats, and AFAIK the ICE online store has them correctly ID'ed. Hope this helps! Leland R. You're late. |

Volstagg, thanks for fielding that question for me. Let me know when you're gonna be in the area, and maybe we can get a game in. Will, I'll see what I can come up with and post it to my blog. I'll let everyone know when it's up (which may take awhile). Leland, thanks for pinning down the Sapper for us. |

Volstagg, thanks for the link. It seems I have a Victory, a Formidable & a Constellation |

It seems I have a Victory, a Formidable & a Constellation If you're ever in the San Antonio-Austin area, we should get a game in (I realize that's a bit far from your location, but just in case you make it over here
). |

@BWP That's about the way I remember it, but the last time I got to the store, the list seemed unavailable. Might be my own massive browser fail, of course. As for late, it was with trepidation I made the answer I did, but felt I had to jump back in as I assumed you were 'spreading joy' elsewhere. (Strange, I'm suddenly thinking in a Centauri accent.)
