…or that maybe you would like to see revived?
I am sure this has already been done, but an update now and then never hurt anybody.
Separate by genre, where applicable, using the "Zones of Interest" from the TMP masthead as your guide.
Here's mine:
In General: "Full Thrust/More Thrust" (ONLY, and NEVER the "Fleet Books")
Fantasy: "AD&D Battlesystem", Second Edition
Historical: "Gladiators" Man-to-Man Combat in the Roman Arena, Fantasy Games Unlimited with updated house rules
Science Fiction: (tie) "Star Wars Miniatures Battles" West End Games/"T2: Year of Darkness" Phoenix Games
Toy Gaming: "Not-So-Little Wars" 1:18 scale WW2 Skirmish Rules, house rules

Is Full Thrust out of print? Or do you just mean the older version.

I'd gladly get back into Necromunda and Mordheim, like, any day of the week. I bet Blood Bowl has some supporters out there too.

Two by Black Falcon…

'Pig Wars' – still widespread and popular, but – without a current print deal – it's only available on download from the author.

'Blood & Chivalry' – never been bettered for big skirmish/ small battle medeival mayhem. Wish it was still in print, because my copy is looking a bit battered these days!

I would not call FT truly out of print, since it is easily (and freely) available. Trireme and Circus Maximus are fun. Gladiator is a bit of a slog sometimes.

Rogue Trader
Warhammer 3rd (just getting started actually)

Would like to see revived:
Chronopia (and its 6mm version that never came out)
Warzone

Stuff like Stargrunt, Full Thrust and WarEngine don't qualify IMO because they're still all readily available from the people who made them… and for free.

Dasher25 Feb 2011 5:02 p.m. PST

Cool answers! Lots of boardgames in the list, which is nice to see.
I didn't have room, but I should have put "Great Rail Wars" in my own answers, as well.
This is by far the game I invested the most time into in terms of miniatures and terrain.
I am not a fan of the new version, I loved first edition GRW right out of the box, and with very few add-ons from 2nd Edition, that is still the one we play.
Thanks, all!

HardRock25 Feb 2011 5:45 p.m. PST

Virtually everything I play is either howm-grown or OOP. Only one or two games are currently available.

And the list is long and distinguished!
