Agreed. Osprey delivered a good product in Lipscombe's work. A welcome addition to my library.

As was pointed out in the review, and the only minor issue I have with the book, is the colors on the maps. They put the French in dark blue and the Spanish in black. Not good … you really need to look hard to distinguish the two colors.

Thank you for the review. I've been so wrapped up in my own stuff that somehow I missed this. Your explanations and the pictures really gave me a good sense of what to expect. Looks like a must have!

Thanks for the photos of example pages; index especially. I noticed Amazon is discounted the Atlas to an attractive price.

Thank you for the review sir. I have a few Napoleonic Atlases and it seems like overkill to have one atlas just for the Peninsular War, but I'm considering it. Your comments are welcome and appreciated.
