I'm spending a few days in Taranto next month. Is there anything there frm a wargaming perspective that I should be looking out for in the city or nearby?

Well the anchorages are really nice, and a US warship might
be there. Other than that, I'm 30 years out of date. 8^(

Several ancient temples, mainly Greek, a doric temple in the old island, a villa romana toward Saturo, the museum, famous for its collections. 30km west there' s the old city of Metaponto. And some kms before the famous Tavole Palatine, a splendid Greek temple. Adria has a particular castle. And many other things…
