This is a interesting diorama made by Mr. José Cusachs from Spain about the reconquest of the Almohabid Empire in Spain by the Spanish Christians. José mention that "Historically, the battle of "Las Navas de Tolosa" (July 16th 1212) marked the entry of the Christians in the heart of Al-Andalus shortly after conquering the valley of the Guadalquivir. The victory of the Christian allies (Castilian, Navarrese, Aragonese and French) would contribute to the collapse of the Almohadid Empire and the rebellion of the Andalusians to get rid of them, so that Muslim disunity would further facilitate the Spanish conquest." picture If you want to see more, Cusachs main page is espaciocusachs.blogspot.com For translation you could used translate.google.com/#es|en| Hope you enjoy!. Neato. I tried to get a wargame together for this one, but I just couldn't wrap my head around the numbers, tactics, sequence, etc

It is a very interesting battle too, with multiple kings, religious orders, and crusaders all in one army. It is on my list to game someday. Cool diorama. Allen |

Then there's the Almohadian Black Guard, all chained together, iirc. THAT unit had me baffled: and I still doubt its provenance
