I'm going to be spending March in Ottawa, so was just wondering whether anyone can recommend some good gaming shops there, please?

I think there is one on Laurier street (not far from the war memorial) called Fandom (maybe? been awhile since I was there).

There's Fandom II at 162 Laurier Ave. West near Elgin.

Fandom II is good. Lots of flyers there for people looking for games etc.

There's also the Comic Book Shop and the Silver Snail on Bank Street (although the CBS on Merivale has a lot more minis than the one on Bank). There's also the Hobby Centre on Roydon (off of Merivale just South of the rail line) and the Hobby Hovel on Montreal Road.

In Gatineau, there's the Multizone in the Promenades de l'Outaouais and the in the Aylmer Galleries. There was a hobby store in Hull, but they closed in December.

How long a drive is it from Ottawa to North Bay? North Bay Games and Hobbies carries lots of good stuff!

Or just come down to Hotlead end of March and see all sorts of dealers! :^)

It's about a 5 hr drive from Ottawa to North Bay, James. I've done it a good many times though I'm a tad closer.

The Hobby Centre and Hobby House are both more hobby shops than game stores.

Multizone seems to be rather pricy, and at least the store in Aylmer is small and has limited stock.

Wow, thanks guys! I found Silver Snail last time I was out there, mainly comics, action figures and CCGs but it's a pretty good geek shop.

I did the rounds of all the geek stores in London, ON yesterday – so if anyone is planning a trip there let me know.

Anything good come of it, SM?
