Hi All,

Does anyone make a falconer or hawker (the hunter, not the seller) in 28mm?

Thanks much,

Legion

There were some nice ones in Rackham's Confrontation line… I think they're in the Cadwallon faction.
OOP but not that hard to find.

Foundry had a Gothic noble in chainmail, with a hawk on the wrist, but I don't see him in their current line-up.

BTD do a Norman nobleman with a hawk: link

Not the most reliable company to order from, though.

Those are excellent. I almost bought some a few years ago just because.

IIRC GW or Marauder did a villager or a hunter holding a Hawk aloft.

The Essex mini was a Mongol officer I think. A portly figure in a large coat and furry hat.

Dudes, you all rule as usual.

Thanks.

leg1on;

You might also look at MegaMinis. They offer a guard with hawk as figure DEAL-0151 with a pic on the pdf catalog page.

These are primarily Julie Guthrie sculpts from the former Grenadier line, and some from other lines as well. The detail is excellent and there are several Town Guards on foot to go with the figure as well. I have purchased many figures from MegaMinis and the service is excellent.

BTW – They also offer a separate catalog pdf of Julie's Grenadier Classics that contains several useful medieval figures; as well as a catalog featuring almost any kind of animal that you may require (hunting hounds, wild animals, etc.). Good company, good products.

Valdemar's Medieval Hunting Party have a lady with a hawk, if that is any good – link They apparently average 25mm, though, not 28.

Essex M8 is a mounted armoured King c.1350 with hawk on wrist (Palewarrior, they do a Mongol or Khitan with hawk as well).

cheers,
Duncan
