anyone know of a source for 25/28/30mm mandalorian minis (boba/jango fett)? i know there is WOTC prepainted ones so don't include those as i'm hoping for a bit more quality and action pose.

OR is there some how-to-guides on making some conversions?

I have seen some people converting Eldar guardian bodies with Khorn helmets that look pretty good.

The West End Games 25mm one wasn't a bad pose.

There was a Star Wars (Original Trilogy) Monopoly set a few years back. The pewter figures are around 28mm.

There is also the Kenner Micro Collection stuff from the early 80s. They scale out extremely well with the West End Games stuff, but Boba Fett's pose was very static.

I always thought the Alternative Armies Free Levies had a Boba Fett/Mandalorian look. If you painted the vertical visor slit on the helmet you got a very Boba-ish helmet. Even all the gear and such suggested the look of his uniform. With a matching paint job, you could field a force of Bobas.

The 28mm figs are being re-released after a long hiatus. The Free Levies are now called the Muster Troops. You can see them here:

Try a PanO knight from the infinity line. Several to choose from, dynamic poses, and the helmets have a vertical slot. They are a bit pricey, though, but they're great for RP characters or unit leaders. I used this one picture for my Mandalorian in a recent SW game.
