Pics are here link (hope that works)The TPSC T34 is the the one with a 4 digit number on the turret. Also included are 2 pics of 85 turret fitted TPSC T34 compared with BF T34. The tanks were painted 1 week apart and I think the TPSC T34 needs another dullcoat. Overall size: TPSC model is a touch smaller than the BF version. This shows up more in the photos than it does "in real life". I would have no problems mixing the two on the table. Detail: Bit shallower on the TPSC put this didn't seem to effect my dry brush and wash painting style Making the kit: Pretty straight forward. However I did have 2 little niggles. a) There are no locating lugs or ridges for lining up the underside of the hull and the top so a bit of care is needed. b) I had difficulty matching up and glueing the two halves of the tracks together as well as lining them up on the wheels. I did opt to glue the tracks to the wheels before attaching the wheels to the hull. Next one I build I will try attaching the tracks after the wheels are glued to the hull. Overall impressions: At half the price (when counting P&P and customary 10% off BF)I don't think you can go wrong. Having the ability to field 85 or 76 version is a major bonus as well. The only downside I could come up is the weight .. they don't feel quite right but that is something a bit of kids modelling putty can put right :-) I currently own about 40 T34s (mixed 85s and 76s). I think it is time to get rid of these and replace with 20 of these little beauties. That way I wont have to carry a toolcase with just T34s in it :-) |

It looks quite good, and I like the wheel detailing on the plastic one better. Thanks for sharing. |

They look very good to me. Looks like it's time to open the wallet and finally dive into some Russians. |

Epoxy BBs or other weight inside the hull. That's what we model railroaders do. |

I don't do ww2 in 15mm myself but I can see a few of these being very handy for my AK-47 armies. |

bob696, many thanks for the review and pics as I am considering getting some of these. By the way, like other posters I have used fishing weights on plastic mode aircraft to make them heavier. |

Nice review and exactly what many have been asking for, comparison with some of the existing models out there. These and the new Zvezda ones at about half the price of FOW should prove popular, though a bit more to put together. |

Great thanks for posting. The plastic one look just fine to me. The weight "issue" is not an issue. People may not like the individual "lightness" of a single vehcile..but I bet they will like having an overall lighter and easier to transport full army! BF better get it's act together
they are going to be losing huge amounts of sales to the Plastic Soldier Company and those that follow it with quality plastic 15mm WWII releases! |
