Hello,

I was wondering whether there were any recommendations for a vampire themed adventure (D&D, pathfinder or similar).

I'm looking for something progressively darker and darker, with a lot of uneasiness rather than full slash and hack. But if you know of another good vampire adventure, please let me know.

You might want to watch the Dr. Who episode Blink. It isn't about vampires directly, but the Weeping Angels in it are a type of vampire and it could be made into a great adventure for any type of RPG.

The best you can find is the old edition of Vampire Dark Ages by White Wolf games. Lots of awesome adventures n places like Cordoba, Jerusalem, Constantinopole. Clanbook: Baali is still one of the greatest RPG supplements I have bought. If you want I could look up the old campaing I ran for some of my friends.

make sure to look for the orginal 1990s version which was far better then the newer one.

thanks Travlos, I'm looking at these with great attention and googling for more information.

What I meant initially was a scenario/campaign for regular medieval fantasy adventurers developing in the context of a dark vampire theme, probably involving politics, deception, dilemmas, hunting and being hunted.

Dark Ages is perfect for that. There is no reason to run them with vampire players. You might need to add some elements and tweak others but the whole dark world with politics, dilemmas, hunting and being hunted is there.

An example could be: the players are sent by the Archbishop of Canterbury to investigate reports o heresy and weird activity in a parish somewhere in Engalnd. When they arrive there they learn of disaperences and that many villagers tned to be sick for days. They also find the local feudal lord very unhelpful and the local priest very secretive. They also start noticing weird iconography and architectural elements in the church…..

How about the original Castle Ravenloft adventure? Freely available for download with a bit of googling.

I'll second the V:DA suggestion-- fantastic sourcebook. Probably White Wolf's last great game.

thanks all for the answers. Since my budget is somewhat limited I bought castle ravenloft and the city campaigns for dark age. It should get me started for some good gaming hours.
