Rounding off the Polls Suggestion for the 2010 TMP Awards is the category for Best Wargaming Accessory.
This category has been added by popuyl;ar demand. (Three requests on the pre-Poll discussion thread!)
I am doing it today because I go in to work early on Saturdays, and thought I would round out the week.

This can be anything that helps us prepare or paint or play, that is not a figure/model, or rules/supplement.

It can be a painting guide, new range of paints, dice, ground cloth, terrain, 3-D tabletop "printer", etc.
I am sorry if some think that this category is too broad. Well, not real sorry… Breaking it down into minute mini-categories that had at most two nominations would give a meaningless award. Deal with it.

As always, it does no good to complain that your favorite accessory has not been included in the Final Poll. It MUST be nominated here to make it into the Poll.

Does brands of booze count as a 'gaming aid' John?

I have set no restrictions beyond "came out in 2010", and "be anything that helps us prepare or paint or play".

I refuse to add any more. It would not be worth changing an OFM decision.

Not only do they work as dice, they make the user instantly attractive to the opposite sex.

I second the dice set from TwoFatLardies.

Ever since I got a set, I have found myself to be more attractive to the opposite sex…although admittedly from a fairly low base!

Any of the Litko playing aids, markers, bits and bobs. These guys really know how to support us with things that aid our game play.

Which specific Litko aids? They have been around before 2010.
To be eligible, you must nominate something that came out in 2010.

I think the best accessory is the inflatable wargame terrain pieces. Unroll them , blow them up , set them out and there you go. When done, roll em back up and you can have an entire battlefield in a single box. Good stuff.

Litko customizable markers. Allows you to configure whatever games you want-- first rate.

GUYS!!!
Be SPECIFIC about the Litko things you want to reward with an award!!!
You CANNOT be generic and nominate the whole company! You MUST nominate something that came out in 2010, or it will not count.

Ditto "beer". I know that I have been buying my particular favorite, Yuengling Lager, way before 2010.

This is NOT a generic catch-all "All Time Favorite Accessory". If you cannot be more specific, your nomination will be ignored.
I have nothing against Litko, and Lord knows nothing against beer. But, it must be something that first went on sale in 2010.

I'll toss in some I think are attractive, counters and measures and stuff released by GW to compliment the new version of Warhammer.

No one seems to have mentioned Good Luck as a very helpful accessory.

Failing that – loaded dice.

Litko Songs of Blades gauges

I do not like the markers (much too large for 15mm) but the measurement gauges really help.
