I am so gutted… I may actually miss this Salute after 8 consecutive years. It clashes with the Kids Easter break… when we traditionally have our main holiday of the year. If our plans change (which they might) I'll be there but at the moment it's not looking good. Sigh. Family huh! How comes its so early this year? BigLee

Not sure if I'm going this year, usualy run demo games, but not sure if we are this year May go as a punter (less stressful) but unless I get a car full may not be worth it due to costs of parking/entry/petrol We shall see Al |

@BigLee – so early? Last year was the 24th, but we were in March in 2009. A late easter combined with the good fortune of missing the royal wedding I guess. |

only 13 weeks to save up some money, let alone actually buy and paint a squad of figures for the demo game we're doing – YIKES!! Double YIKES considering I paint perhaps 1-2 28mm figures A YEAR!! |

American Foxes in London! I am bringing the entire family across the pond. It worked out great for our spring break. Flights are booked just struggling with my timeshare trade. But we are going no matter what. May have to hunt around for lodging if it does not come through:( Two purposes for me: 1. Just to experience Salute once in my life
2. Exploring the possibilities of Bringing the Iron Wind Metals/Old Ral Partha booth to the show in 2012 Looking really forward to it all! |

@ttauri – you're right, it isn't on any of the blog postings that show; I will fix that. Salute 2011 is the 16th April; it is on the 'Salute 2011' page, but I will fix the front page. It's odd how you can miss something that obvious when you're too close to it! |

Looking forward to Salute. Can I make ONE request please…. Would someone sort out the darned fire marshalls so we can actually get in the show this year!!! I arrived to the longest queue(line) i have ever seen in my life last year, because some pain in the butt would not allow the doors to open for the usual pointless H&S reasons. NO I am not a big fan of excessive H&S rules :) I want to go buy toys, and I don't want anything stopping me, so pretty please get everything ready in time, or kidnap the fire marshal or bribe him or SOMETHING!
