Leading off in the Poll Suggestion is this Nominating Topic for "Best Fantasy Range of 2010".

The rules are simple.

A "Range" means a discrete group of figures that have a rational connection. There should be the possibility of more than 2 discrete figures.
It can be a brand new project from a company tied to a rules system, or not.
It can be a new group or race within that project, such as "Space Halflings" within an already established sci-fi project.
It can be a new box of plastics that allow you to make a large variety of characters.

It can be in any scale, or size.

It can be metal, plastic, resin, anything that is a solid physical opject.

Finally, it must have first gone on sale, anywhere in the world, in the calendar year 2010.

To make it to the Round One Poll, a "range" must be nominated on this thread. It will do no good to complain that your favorite range is not listed if it has not been nominated.
I cannot help you if you have "Poll Suggestions" turned OFF. grin

I nominate Splintered Light Miniatures undead range. They added several figures to the line in 2010 and the range is very extensive (and pretty).

One of the really unique things about it is SL makes skeleton versions of a lot of the ranges that fight the undead. So if your a necromancer and your army kills a unit of dwarves, you could raise them and put a unit of undead dwarves on the table evil grin

I wish to nominate Eureka's 10mm African Fantasy Range – rhino chariot, Cape Buffalo riders, lions, rhinos, heroes and shamans.

Because I have no shame, I nominate our Axibalan Empire figs, sculpted by Patrick Keith. They were extremely popular.

Shameless is good.

I nominate Soda Pop Miniatures' Super Dungeon Explore range. The "big" release of the game (box sets and all) is apparently set for later this year, but the Heroes and Kobolds went on sale shortly before New Year, so should qualify as being from 2010. It's a very unique range with a "JRPG nostalgic" style that aims to be cheerful and light-hearted. In particular, I think it exemplifies the hobby at its most creative and experimental.

GW dark elves

Otherworld Miniatures Lycanthropes, Ogres and Spiders.

I'll also nominate the Goblin packs GB2, 3 and 4, but pack GB1 was released in 2009 so the whole range doesn't qualify.

Alxbates14 Jan 2011 6:22 a.m. PST

Crocodile Games' Wendigo (which saw numerous new releases and a rulebook in 2010)

Crocodile Games' Olympus (which saw numerous releases in 2010)

Delthos14 Jan 2011 10:52 a.m. PST

Dark Elves weren't redone in 2010.

Well, I used a lot of the new 4oK wyches as dark elves – they mix nicely with the DE and Wood elf plastics… probably doesn't count though.

I will nominate Freebooter's "Freebooters' Fate" line. Not all of them were released in 2010, but quite a few of them were.
