It started almost two years ago, but I got a good restart on my Ghostbuster project in the last few weeks. Here are a few group shots. You can see detailed shots of individual minis on my blog at: link (Just do a search on my blog for "Ghostbusters.") picture picture picture |

Very cool. Excellent use of minis from a variety of sources. |

James, for now, I'm using a modified version of Tusk, though I may try using All Things Zombie with some added rules for ghost traps. |

Outstanding work and subject matter. My son grew up with Ghostbusters (he 22 now) and we still have his Ghostbuster outfit and backpack in the attic. My wife refuses to get rid of it. He never was interested in the miniatures thing but I bet I could turn him around with these babies. . . 8) |

I would love to see your Mods for Tusk. Do you have them posted anywhere? Stacy |
| evilcartoonist | 10 Jan 2011 8:56 a.m. PST |
If you have Tusk here are the basic changes I made (VERY simplified): Instead of a base of figures, everything is on an individual base. Change the names of the character types- ranged types are the ghostbusters; shamans and special characters become your paranormal investigators. There is no fire. But traps take the place of fire on the reaction tables. I added rules for ghost traps (another action to spend action points on.) You spend one action to set it up and another to activate it when a ghost is in range. Successful hits with positron colliders (ranged) provide a bonus modifier to activating and rolling for a trap attempt. Then I made a few reaction tables for ghosts. So essentially, my rules are a re-skin of the game (though I have created my own special characters with their own powers as well.) Those are the basic changes I've made. I can't post the rules as I have them written out, because I rewrote the whole rulebook, including my changes, for myself. I reckon' Stay Puft will simply be a Brontosaurus :) |

Thanks for all the additonal info!!! James |

I would think that the Fear and Faith rules from Ganesha Games might fit the bill very well

The Tusk mod sounds great – nice work. :) |

Thanks for the info. I have Tusk thus my inquiry as to the mods. I'll have to give a shot at trying them out. There has been a guy at Origins the past couple of years running what looks to be a fun game of Ghostbusters. He is using his own house/club rules. I'd love to get in, or at least get to watch, one of his games to see how it plays but I'm always working when he is running it. Stacy |

Sigh. Of course this would be released just a few months after I made my own: link 1/43 scale. Oh well. Maybe it's a sign I need to slow down? :) |

Actually, since the GBs you did are your own group, I think the Ectomobile you went with works well. It is as individualistic as they are. |
| evilcartoonist | 15 Mar 2011 7:53 a.m. PST |
True- I DO like my own Ecto mobile. But I may still purchase one of these if I can find one. |

The new pics a very nice. I was very pleased when that Staypuft bank was released. I really like the shot off of the roof. |

Speaking of which, the movie was just on the television. |
| IronMike | 26 Mar 2011 4:18 p.m. PST |
The ghosts in the background are magnificent! Where did you get them? |
| evilcartoonist | 27 Mar 2011 6:19 a.m. PST |
The threee ghosts are all from Reaper Miniatures. I made Slimer myself with some greenstuff and a couple random arms out of the bits box. |
| IronMike | 27 Mar 2011 2:37 p.m. PST |
Great, three more additions to my lead pile ;) |
