I have a Crusader/Artizan 28mm Vikings and am looking for some 28mm armoured Hird Archer figures (metal only) to go with them. Neither company seem to make armoured Archers so if anyone has an idea of who may please advise! I've had a look at Foundry and GB but no joy there. Worse case scenario I'll glue some bows onto Hird figures or use armoured Norman archers but would prefer specific figures. Yes, I am pedantic and no I won't go plastic….:) All suggestions (relevant to the topic) gratefully received, cheers

Actually Foundry do have some armoured archers, pack VIK032 (all mail), and VNS002 (mix of mail/leather armour).

Black Tree Design do some very good mailed Viking archers, and they're outstandingly good value… but a BTD order is a roll of the dice. They may arrive in a week, or never… |

Couldn't find armoured on GB in metal. BTD are quite cheap at the moment but I'm concerned whether I'll get them this year…. |
