Hi, I was wonder if anyone could help with the tracking of a package from Croatia (from Tabletop World). The tracking number they were able to provide is CAxxxxxxxxxSI, where x is a number. Unfortunately neither of us were able to use this number to actually track this package. I realize the package has most likely been delayed due to a combination of weather in Western Europe, weather on the East coast of US, and the holidays, but it'd be useful to get an rough idea of when it will arrive before I leave town for a week or so. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas on how best to track the package, I'd be most grateful. Nick Richardson |

Regular post not UPS or FedEx, I assume? I'd check with the toll-free number for the USPS and see if they have any suggestions – if the package wasn't sent via the Croatian equivalent of Registered Mail it's quite likely that it can't be tracked at all. |

What he said – if it's not specifically a registered service there likely isn't actual tracking, just delivery confirmation. On top of the weather and the usual pre-Christmas carnage, mail to the States has been affected by the security changes (no mail on trans-Atlantic passenger planes) which has really messed things up over the last 6 weeks or so, not just with delays, but also with stuff getting States-side out of sequence – eg. I've two customers who've received back-ordered bits from me before the original orders those bits were back-ordered from

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I really appreciate it. I'll give USPS a call, and apart from that, try and remain patient. Nick R.. |
