Had an idea using some old mageknight figures and some fancy plastic paper clips to make some killer robot figures.

Those are really good. You have good vision to see beyond the paperclip.
After a 2nd look they remind me of those floating robot guardians in a star trek episode. Generations one I think.

That's almost worth buying the office supplies for!

Those are cool! I think I have enough Necron legs floating around to do something similar…

The transition from office supply item to gray machine was significant…well done indeed!

Really nice job.

I'm glad you posted the pictures because when you said "paper clips" even though you also said "fancy plastic", I was still thinking those traditional loops of wire and could not picture how you could get from there to killer robots.

What paper clips are those exactly? Who sells them and what are they really called? Brand name?

With a few styrene bits here and there, they might work as one or two-man craft for 15mm, I would think.

Got them from the OFFICE DEPOT, they were in the paperclip area, in particular the package is called CUBICLE CLIPS, comes in 5 or 10 packs, 5 were 3 dollars.

I am liking these for 15mm transport craft.

Thanks again for the share.
